T is for Teddy Bear

So this week our "special" letter for the week was T, and what better theme to go with T, than Teddy Bears! We had a lot of fun this week. I told my kiddos on Monday that we would be going to a teddy bear picnic on Friday, and they were so excited and had TONS of questions. They had no clue what bears would do on a picnic, and honestly neither did I since I've never done this before, but we ended up coming up with some super fun activities for Friday.

We also did several other fun activities leading up to Friday. We labeled a teddy bear, made a Fuzzy Wuzzy bear, counted Corduroy's buttons and made teddy bear headbands for our picnic. So fun! Take a look...

Label the teddy

We made a "T" with our teddy bears

We made a teddy bear number line during math, and then we glued it on sentence strips

Girls on the picnic

Boys on the picnic

What a fun week! We're moving on to letter "A" next week and our theme is Apples. You won't believe alllllllll the stuff I have planned for these sweet little kiddos. It's going to be LOADS of fruity fun!
