Okay so I'm waaaayy behind on the blog but I'm going to catch up now. So LAST Friday was green day! We still continued with our Brown Bear theme and did some activities with the green frog, but we also did a super cute activity with the book "Go Away Big Green Monster" by Ed Emberly. It is such a cute little book. First, I read it out loud, and the kids adored it. Next, I read it real slowly page by page while the kids helped to make a huge Big Green Monster. Then later at the end of the day we read it again and the kids TLC'd their very own big green monsters. We even made our best monster faces! Such great fun! Here's some pics. We've also finished our Brown Bear unit so there will be some center pics for that coming soon. Now we're moving on to an All About Me! unit. It's going to be great fun and a good chance for my kiddos to learn some different things about each other. Hopefully it'll be a good opportunity to work on building our classroom community.
His teeth appear to be falling out cause we have a shorty that couldn't quite reach. Cute!
